The next stage was definitely David.**
Grounding began as a spark — a simple idea introduced to the world by Clint Ober. He recognised the problem, opened the conversation, and gave millions a starting point. That part of the story belongs to him, and rightly so.
But every movement needs its next chapter. And that chapter began in Penwortham, Lancashire.
Where curiosity met craftsmanship
When David Arathoon first encountered grounding, it wasn’t through engineering — it was through experience. A simple grounding mat opened a door, but curiosity pushed him through it. He wanted to understand why it worked, how it worked, and whether it could be done better… cleaner… purer… and without chemicals, rubber, textiles, or carbon.
That curiosity became experimentation. Experimentation became engineering. Engineering became invention.
And CowNected was born.

He replaced mats, wires, rubber, textiles, carbon pads, and imported kits with pure copper, shaped by hand, built with British‑made craftsmanship, and refined through a calm, methodical engineering mind.
